I am sorry for your wait, but I've been busy since I do have a job which i will mention in another post with more details but as for right now let's talk about long bridesmaid dresses.
Normally bridesmaid dresses have no sleeves at all but it is actually very simple to cover yourself while wearing one since all you need to worry about is chest and arms. There are shrugs for sale that are fancy enough for a wedding but if you can't find the right color you could go with wide a scarf draped over your shoulders and hanging down the sides of your body or tied in front like the picture in the top left.

If you also want to cover more chest a better option would be to wear a lace top under your dress like the images below.
And if you are supposed to pick your own dress you can always just find one that is already modest if none of these options are appealing, but doing this should be less expensive depending on where you get your dress.
